On a not so unordinary morning.

Here are a few pictures of some of our regular morning activities. However, these pictures were all taken in the same, very busy morning. On a side note, if I ever have you over for dinner, I apologize in advance if the food tastes a bit waxy. Apparently, crayons are a good option for pretend food when you are pretend cooking.

Election Day.

This morning, while getting Lucy out of bed, I asked her who she was voting for today.

She said, “Puppy.”

We had a fun Halloween.

For Halloween, we celebrated by carving a pumpkin the night before, dressed Lucy up as a puppy, and took her trick-or-treating. Although, she really doesn’t know that they were putting candy in her bag, she loved being able to put things in her treat sack. She seemed to have a lot of fun at “Treatsville”, put on by our local church. I have to say, I think her favorite part was carving the pumpkin. I thought that she might not like the slimy texture, but she jumped right in and was up to the challenge of getting those slippery little seeds to stay on the spoon so she could throw them away.

Because I told my mom that I would.

Here are some pictures form yesterday. Lucy spent a lot of time walking around the house in my shoes. It’s become one of her new favorite activities. We also spend time outside playing in the leaves. You can’t really tell in these pictures, but our yard has been taken over by yellow and orange leaves. I love it!

Top 10 Predictions .. No Matter Who Wins the Election

(I received this from Lori in an e-mail a couple of weeks ago. I think it’s very fitting during these stressing times.)

1. The Bible will still have all the answers.

2. Prayer will still work.

3. The Holy Spirit will still move.

4. God will still inhabit the praises of His people.

5. There will still be God-anointed preaching.

6. There will still be singing of praise to God.

7. God will still pour out blessings upon His people.

8. There will still be room at the Cross.

9. Jesus will still love you.

10. Jesus will still save the lost.

ISN’T IT GREAT TO KNOW WHO IS STILL IN CONTROL?

One Word.

If you described the other people in your household by using just one word, what would that word be? For me, it would be…

Tony: Strong
Lucy: Observant

What are your words?
