Hey Val,
I really enjoyed your story about your French adventure. I was listening to a talk show the other day about the protests in France and one American dude called in to say that he’s had 38 jobs over the last 14 years–sounds like more of a personal problem to me. I hope they are able to reach a compromise.
Getting stuck somewhere has always been one of my biggest fears while traveling (although, it might have been nice to have gotten stuck in the DR:)). I’m glad you guys are back safe and that you had a wonderful countryside tour, it sounded absolutely gorgeous.
We missed you at “the group”!

Seeing the south of France really made the whole fiasco worth while. So beautiful.
