1. The traffic

2. Commuting to work every morning and evening on the Metrorail.

3. Tourist season while commuting every morning and evening on the Metrorail.

4. McDonald’s never getting our order right because the person in the window doesn’t understand english.

5. Living in a one-bedroom apartment with a very furry dog who has to run around the chair twenty times to burn off an iota of his energy.

6. The never-ending traffic.

7. The man standing next to me on the metro who had horribly bad breath but the train was to crowded for me to get away. Luckily, if I passed out from the smell, I would only end up leaning against the person standing next to me.

8. The protestors who block the streets near the White House and/or Capitol building when we are trying to get to work.

9. The stench that rises from the city streets after it rains.

10. Dear Lord, the traffic.

11. Wendy’s never getting our order right because the person in the window doesn’t understand english.

12. Living three hours away from the nearest Sonic.

13. Living six hours away from the nearest Hobby Lobby.

14. The fact that it can take half an hour to drive five miles.

15. The dog next door who can’t keep from peeing in the hallway, the stairwell and the entry way while his owner is taking him outside to “do his business”.

16. Everyone “inside the beltway” thinking that anyone “outside the beltway” gives a hoot about who leaked Valerie Plame’s identity.

17. Paying more for rent each month than my mother and her husband pay for their mortgage on a 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, with a partially finished basement.

18. Never ending sneezing from March through November.

19. Singing environmentalists on the metrorail.

20. Oh yeah, the traffic.
