Take Me Out To The Ball Game!
Yesterday, I fell in love with my husband all over again. He told me about his stash of home-run balls from high school and my heart began to flutter. I can’t wait until we go back to his parents’ house so I can see them! Each story made my heart swell even more. I had no idea I was living with such athletic greatness!
There’s just something about knowing your man is good, possibly one of the best. Who cares if it was high school. I’ll walk around that town with my head held high, beaming because he’s mine. We’ll go to the grocery store and I’ll introduce myself to the check-out girl, “Hi, I’m Mrs. Tony Evans. You know, captain of the baseball team, fourth batter in the line-up.” I’ll go to the Rocking Chair restaurant and say to the waitress, “Hi, I’m Mrs. Tony ‘prom-king-baseball-captain-homerun-hitting’ Evans.”
The truth is, I’m proud of him everyday because he does something each day that is worthwhile, thoughtful or great. I’m a lucky girl. And, yesterday, I found out that I am luckier than I thought!

That’s amazing he had so many titles for high school!
I dont think we have to worry about him letting it all go to his head though, he seems really down to earth- However, if he starts prancing the house in his bath robe, prom king crown, and using his bat as a “royal walking stick” then I think we might have to regroup
hehe
