Thank you very much.
Thanksgiving is just a couple of days away. Feels like it just snuck right up on us. Since we went to Missouri in October, Tony and I will be celebrating Thanksgiving just the two of us. Three, if you count Graham. Well, four, if you count the baby. I’m sure we’ll all end up with plenty of turkey. Speaking of turkey, Tony picked out the turkey this year. Guess how big it is. Go ahead, take a guess. WRONG. Our turkey weighs in at a whopping 20 pounds. For two people. And a dog. We’re going to be eating turkey until 2007.
Earlier today I was thinking about all that has been happening in our lives lately. We’ve had a lot of things going on, both good and bad. And, you know, I’m thankful for it all. I’m thankful that in the middle of some of our circumstances, I’m married to Tony, and no one else. I’m thankful that even though Tony has been sick for the past week, we are basically healthy people, having a healthy baby. I’m thankful for our house, even though the thought of another family member makes it feel a little small. I’m thankful that we both have jobs, regardless of how much we complain about them. I am thankful for our families, no matter how far away they are. I am thankful for our friends, old ones and new ones, and new old ones (you know who you are).
I am thankful that no matter what, God has promised to always be with us. We always have hope. We always have love. We always have something to be thankful for.
What are you thankful for?
Happy Thanksgiving.

I’m thankful for my husband and two beautiful healthy children, family that is always there for me, food and shelter and a job that enables me to provide that. I’m thankful that we have hope in Christ not only for the hope we have in that we will go to heaven, but the opportunity to have God work in and through me now.
I am thankful for friends that are far away. Which the best ones seem to be far away:cry: And I am thankful Val is having a baby. I am very EXCITED for you.
