Sing-a-long.
On Friday night, Tony and I went to dinner down in the art district and participated in a gallery crawl. It’s much like a pub crawl, except that it’s a tour through several of the art galleries in the district, and there are no drink specials or drunkards laying on the side walks.
We ate at a great little cajun restaurant called Boudreaux’s Louisiana Kitchen. We will definitely go back, and hope to take some of you with us when/if you come to visit us in Charlotte. After dinner, we spent a couple of hours wandering around the district, scoping out some of the other local restaurants and checking out a few galleries.
A block away from Boudreaux’s, there is a little coffee shop called Smelly Cat. I’m convinced they got it’s name from Phoebe’s song in F.R.I.E.N.D.S. All night, after seeing the coffee shop, I kept singing the song over and over again. I know you know which one I’m talking about. And, I’m sure that most of you know the words as well as I do. Why don’t you join me?
Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat
What are they feeding you?
Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat
It’s not your fault!
I couldn’t get that song out of my head for the rest of the night. I hope you have better luck than I did!

Oy! Ya know…. singing Smelly Cat or intentionally sticking that little beastly tune into someone’s mind is just plain… stinky.
