This beautiful exchange

Over the weekend, we had a great visit with friends from Virginia. They were here to celebrate the graduation of another friend, and were able to come by and spend a good portion of Saturday with us. It was great to catch up and share stories. They are expecting their first baby, too. A girl.

I can’t believe that it had been a year since we last saw them! They are members of our old small group, and still attend that group. We are the abandon-ers, I suppose.

While they were here, we told stories of the last year, talked about babies and went to Steak N Shake for lunch. It was so much fun to see them, though our time was way too short. Next time we see them, we’ll each have a little tyke to show off!
