Officially Official.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, it appears that the Evans Family of North Carolina will be returning to Missouri. This time, we are moving there, not just visiting. This decision comes after over a month of negotiations with Tony’s job and many many prayers. We will move as soon as our house sells. And, hopefully, that is sooner rather than later.
For the past year or so, we have been struggling with what to do about Tony’s job. Should he stick it out? Should he find something new in Charlotte? And, now that Lucy is here, that decision became even more important. We never expected that we would be moving back to Missouri. We also NEVER expected that his company would be willing or able to pay him the salary he was looking for. We feel blessed by how God has brought all of this together.
We are both excited and sad about this. We are looking forward to living near our families again, but heartbroken over who we are leaving. Once again, God has brought wonderful people into our lives while living here in Charlotte. It has been difficult telling them that we are leaving and knowing that we will be missing out on so much of their lives. We hope to spend as much time with them as we can before we go.
Ultimately, we believe that this move will bring us another step closer to the dreams and plans that we have for our little family. They are dreams and plans that may move us on in a few years, but for now, we will make our home in Springfield. So, over the next several weeks we will be packing up our house, and our little North Carolina girl, and make our way to the Midwest. Where we go from there, God only knows!

I’m going to miss you terribly!!! I’m so glad that I’ll have your blog to keep up with your life back in the Missouri. It’s going to be so weird to lose you guys!! Well I know we aren’t losing you literally…but it will be so hard not to be able to just call each other up and get together. We’re going to miss you SO MUCH!!!!

Wow! I just came to look @ pics of the baby! I will have to tell Brandon when he gets home!! I’m really excited…it will be nice having you all around!! PLAYDATES!!!

OMGoodness! You are moving! Where have I been!! I need to read your blog more regularly! Missouri! That is so much closer, but we never got to see you in NC! Wow! I can’t believe how God has led you two back to MO! Wow! We should really catch up sometime! I miss you. Finally got on myspace and found you guys, so we can keep up that way!
