This beautiful exchange

Yesterday afternoon I took Lucy and Graham on a little walk. It was our first chance to really try out our new baby carrier. The Ergo is made more like a back pack that you can wear on the front, back or your hip. It is our newest addition to our collection of baby wearing options.

Lucy is growing like a weed. She has gotten so big and so heavy that she has basically outgrown her other carriers. So, we had to get a new one. One that distributes most of her weight on my hips rather than pulling on my shoulders. It’s not as stylish as the others, but it is more comfy at this stage. Tony is happy we have it, too, because he is more willing to carry her in this one. For some reason he didn’t like the idea of wearing a brightly colored sling that looks slightly like a shawl!
