This beautiful exchange

On Saturday, we threw a surprise half-birthday party for Tony. In May, we didn’t get to properly celebrate his birthday because Lucy was born just three days earlier. So, we decided to honor him with a night full of friends and family.

The best part is, he really didn’t have a clue until we walked in the door and everyone shouted “SURPRISE”, wearing half birthday hats. We ate pizza and then he was presented with half of a birthday cake. Red velvet, of course.

Unfortunately, Lucy does not like the tradition of everyone yelling “surprise”. She started screaming. Poor girl. I hope that we haven’t ruined surprise parties for her!
