This beautiful exchange

That’s right. We have a contract on our house in Charlotte. It’s taken six months to sell our home and it hasn’t turned out at all like we hoped, but we feel very lucky that our house is even selling.

We are actually scheduled to close next Tuesday. As in, a week from today. I can’t wait for all of this to be over. We’ve been struggling with a stalled market and sneaky real estate agents. I won’t go in to all of the gory details, just know that we have learned to watch out for people who are out squeeze more out of you than you have to give. Ugh.

Thankfully, it’s almost all over. We won’t be paying two mortgages and we’ll be able to concentrate on our new home in Springfield. You know, we can paint our walls so that we can hang up pictures and paintings. OH! OH! We can get blinds to cover the 800 windows we have throughout the house. I think we’ll start there.
