This beautiful exchange

On Saturday, the Wilson clan from Virginia, stopped by for a short visit. We haven’t seen them since September, so it was great to talk with them and hug their necks. And, most importantly, Lucy and Patrick to the chance to play together again. It is so fun to see them together. Being only three days apart, they are pretty much the same size and at the same stage of learning and exploring the world.

One thing that was starkly different is how they played with the toys. For example, Lucy has a toy tractor that has animals and buttons that all make noise. When she plays with it, she takes off the animals and chews on them a bit and then pushes all of the buttons and dances to the music. When Patrick played with the tractor, he scooted it all over the floor and rammed it into the walls and other toys.

We are so glad that they stopped by to see us. We hope that they had a good trip back to Virginia and can’t wait to see them again!
