This beautiful exchange

Lucy has recently taken a liking to playing dress up. She likes wearing her hats, beaded necklaces, Great-Grandma Varner’s bracelets and mommy’s sunglasses.
Here she is wearing one of her hooded bath towels. She likes to put it on her head and walk around the house. I think she looks like a little friendly ghost!

Today was Lucy’s first trip to the zoo. We went with our friends, Nikki and Maya, whom we hang out with pretty much once a week.
We had fun looking at the animals and having a picnic lunch. I think that she liked the giraffs the most. Hopefully, we’ll get to go back, soon.

Lucy went swimming for the first time last week. I think that she enjoyed it, but the water was really cold and hard to get used to. Hopefully, we’ll go again this week so she can work on her back stroke! Here are the pictures from her first trip to the pool.

So….SOMEBODY got into Mom’s purse and found her own morning snack. I’m not going to name any names, but I WILL say that her name rhymes with “Goosey”.

On Saturday, the Wilson clan from Virginia, stopped by for a short visit. We haven’t seen them since September, so it was great to talk with them and hug their necks.
